Shawnee Community College is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program, set to begin in the upcoming fall semester. This innovative two-year program is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled occupational therapy assistants and provide students with a comprehensive education and extensive hands-on training in this vital healthcare field. This ensures that they are well-prepared for their future careers.
To celebrate the importance of this program, SCC will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and provide tours of the newly renovated facility at the Shawnee Community College Union County Extension Center. The celebration will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 10 a.m. at 1150 East Vienna Street, Anna, Illinois.
